Frequently Asked Questions

Is your class suitable for my child?

Our classes are suited for students looking to build a strong foundation in the subject, ultimately helping them succeed in the GCE O and A level program. We provide chapter summary notes, practice questions and mind-maps for students to gain mastery and apply to questions with a higher level of difficulty. Students who benefit the most from our classes learn with us from the secondary level where we have the time to teach students how to analyse and systematically approach the questions before deriving solutions and answering them with the appropriate keywords.

If I miss a lesson, are there make up classes available?

Students can go for makeup lesson if there is another class of the same level. There is no refund of fees for missed class as video recordings and worksheets will be provided for students to catch up.

What is your class size?

Our class size is kept to a maximum of 12 students.

How do you manage students with different topic sequences in the class?

We teach topics according to the sequence which makes the most sense to us. As different schools may teach different topics at a different timing, we are unable to accommodate the topic sequence completely for each student. Students are welcome to ask tutors for help before or after class or by whatsapp if they require help.

We also try to complete the topics early to leave more time for revision, hence we encourage students to join us early so as not to miss out on many of the topics covered with us.

For students who prefer to have the same topic sequence from school, do consider private 1-1 lesson.

Do you accept students from International school, IB program, Combined Science, H1 syllabus?

No. Our program is geared towards students aiming to gain a strong foundation to do well in their secondary examinations and ultimately towards the O and A levels examinations. The syllabus, style of teaching, depth and breadth of questions may not be suitable.

Do you offer trial lessons?

Students can sign up for a paid trial lesson before committing to the regular program.

Lesson fee rate is pro-rated based on the regular program tuition fee rates.

Do we need to pay for registration fee, material fee or buy any assessment books?

We charge a non-refundable material fee of $50 per semester for our in-house materials. We do not charge administrative fee.
